Well the event is now upon us - everything is set.
Photographer Kate Beatty and I will be keeping you updated with text, photo and video throughout the evening - we’ll be covering finalists, sponsors and the council staff who make the evening possible.

Hello to everyone who’s going to be following us today!
Hall 4 at the ICC is currently a hive of activity setting up for tonight’s big event - there’s a laptop precariously balanced on a table while cameras, spotlights and cherry pickers whizz past.
We’re going to be providing you with behind the scenes info from the setup, along with live updates from this evening’s event, and if we’re lucky a few brief video interviews with some happy winners (and equally happy finalists)!
